SHOWCASING PROGENY FROM THE BEST ON OFFER
The Tropicana Classic Halter Features have been developed to showcase exceptional progeny from a nominated group of premium stallions and mares. The nominated breeders allow for progeny to be eligible to compete for the covered halter titles.
SIRES
STALLION SHOWDOWN
For progeny to be eligible to compete in the Sire Halter Features, the stallion must be nominated for the current year. Although, weanling progeny from the previous years nominated stallions, are also be eligible to compete.
All progeny, regardless of breed are eligible, provided they are registered with a breed association or performance registry (for providing proof of parentage).
The auctioned services from the nominated stallions will be donated for the running of the Sire Features.
MARES
POWER OF THE MARE
It's time to be proud of our amazing mares and give them the recognition they deserve by showcasing their progeny.
All progeny of the nominated mares are eligible to enter in the Power of the Mare class in 2023, including any breed, sex and all ages.
There is no limit on the number of progeny entered.
The Power of the Mare class will have an overall winner and place getters awarded.
Individual age group winners i.e., Weanling, Yearling, 2- & 3-Year-Old, and 4 Years & Over will be awarded.
Points earn from the progeny in this class will be calculated and attributed to the nominated mares high point award.
Progeny entered in the Power of the Mare class will also accumulate points which will be attributed to the nominated mares overall high point award from any other classes they enter in the halter program.

2024 Stallion Auction
Terms & Conditions
The 2nd Round Auction will commence 7 PM on the 7th of October. The auction will close at MIDNIGHT on the 21st of October. Bids received after that time will not be accepted.
All bids are a commitment to purchase.
Payment for the purchase of the breeding service must be made to Tropicana Classic Inc. within 7 days of notification of the success of your bid.
If the highest bidder fails to pay within 7 days, the service will be offered to the second-highest-placed bidder.
Auctioned services are to be used in the 2024 breeding season unless other arrangements are made with the nominated stallion owners.
Purchasers of all services sold will be referred to the stallion owner or agent to organise breeding details.
The winner of the service shall be liable for all costs such as collection, shipping, agistment and any other related mare fees, by agreement with the stallion owner. All veterinary fees or additional costs for the mare are also at the cost of the mare owner.

All bids commented on the stallions post are a commitment to purchase, and will be recorded.
Only the bids made on the original post of each nominated stallion will be accepted.
Any frequent bidding and deleting of bids will result in a ban from current and future stallion auctions.
